As the Director of Operations, Erin oversees the back-office operations that support the portfolio accounting, reporting, billing, and trading functions. Erin has extensive experience in each of these areas and has implemented modern software-enabled trading, portfolio, and reconciliation processes to facilitate effective trading and accounting functions. Erin also assists with the firm’s compliance effort as the Compliance Manager.

Erin has extensive experience in each of these areas and has implemented modern software-enabled trading, portfolio, and reconciliation processes to facilitate effective trading and accounting functions. Erin also assists with the firm’s compliance effort as the Compliance Manager.
Erin Price joined Evolutionary Tree Capital Management in October of 2017, and she is a founding staff member of the firm. She has over 27 years of experience in the areas of operations, trading, compliance, and client service in the financial services industry. The bulk of her experience was as Director of Account Administration for Sands Capital Management. She was a founding staff member and instrumental in establishing operations, trading and compliance procedures as the firm grew exponentially from 1992 and over her 17-year tenure. Sands Capital was established in 1992 with Ms. Price as the sole operations employee and, therefore, she was responsible for all back-office functions. Through the late 1990s and 2000s, Sands Capital experienced significant growth and Ms. Price was tasked with building and training what became an operations department of ten employees and later assisted in the creation over time of separate trading, client service and compliance departments.
Ms. Price began her career in financial services operations at Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas (FNFD), a full-service broker-dealer in Washington, D.C. She began in operations in 1981, rising to the position of Operations Manager of FNFD’s Capital Management Group within five years.
